The release automates Windows installation via autounattend.xml, integrates virtio-win drivers for performance, and sets up OpenSSH for shell access. It also adds emulated TPM 2.0 via swtpm on the QEMU driver, a prerequisite for Windows 11 guests and disk-encryption workflows. Current limitations include QEMU-only support and no file mounts or port forwarding for Windows guests yet. Future work includes virtio-fs/SMB file sharing, a Windows guest agent, ARM64 support, and a native HCS backend.
