Lucid has released OTA update UX 3.6 for the Gravity SUV, introducing hands-free highway driving via the Hands-Free Drive Assist feature. Available in the US and Canada for vehicles with the DreamDrive Pro 2 hardware package, the system handles steering, braking, and acceleration on mapped highway corridors with driver monitoring. The update also adds automated lane changes, adaptive high beams, Google Maps POI integration, and an Advanced Preconditioning View for battery charging predictions. This puts Lucid alongside GM Super Cruise, Ford BlueCruise, and Mercedes Drive Pilot in the supervised hands-free driving category.
