## Summary

Prompt-based AI UX tools produce plausible-sounding recommendations but miss the actual user experience because they evaluate interface appearance rather than real user behaviour. The core argument is that meaningful UX analysis requires three inputs: the intended journey, actual interaction evidence (clicks, pauses, drop-offs, unexpected paths), and task context. Without behavioural data, AI generates generic advice that may be technically correct but irrelevant to real friction. The same principle applies to adaptive UX — interfaces should only change when there is behavioural evidence that the current experience fails users, not simply because a model can generate alternatives. The post also introduces Flamio, a product being built around this behaviour-first philosophy, using a 'Happy Path' reference journey to compare against real user sessions and surface structured findings.
