# Meet the new Explore: every question, one place

**[Coralogix](https://daily.dev/sources/coralogix)** · 6 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Coralogix has redesigned Explore so engineers can move between logs, traces and dashboards without rebuilding queries or switching tools. You can start a query in plain language using an AI assistant called Olly, which writes DataPrime for you, or build filters visually or with Lucene syntax. Clicking fields updates the query directly with no hidden filter state, and tabs preserve separate investigation contexts side by side. A walkthrough shows finding a checkout latency spike, tracing it to a release-related connection-pool setting, and resolving it in 27 minutes. Legacy Explore retires on December 15, 2026, with automatic migration for existing queries.

## Questions this post answers

### When does Coralogix retire the legacy version of Explore?

Legacy Explore retires on December 15, 2026. Day-to-day users are migrated automatically with no action needed, and selecting 'Try it now' in Legacy Explore carries over existing queries and fields. Saved legacy links open in the new Explore automatically, but bookmarks, runbooks, and scripts that build legacy links should be updated before the cutoff date.
