Merantix Capital has closed a €103m fund, more than three times the size of its first €30m vehicle, to back early-stage AI-native startups across Europe. The fund is split evenly between founders working with Merantix from the pre-idea stage at its Berlin AI Campus and direct pre-seed/seed investments. The firm plans around 40 investments with cheques of €1m–€3m, targeting industry-specific AI applications in logistics, manufacturing, energy, finance, healthcare, life sciences, robotics, and enterprise software. Limited partners include Union Investment, Jungheinrich, KPMG Germany, and two US philanthropies. The fund is part of the broader Merantix Group ecosystem, which includes the Berlin AI Campus, a London AI Hub, and an enterprise AI services arm.
