Meta is expanding Pocket, its AI-powered vibe-coding app for creating and sharing small interactive games called 'gizmos,' to all U.S. users after a quiet test launch in Brazil. Built from the team acquired from the Gizmo platform, the app lets people generate games via AI prompts that respond to touch and tilt, include sound effects and song clips, and can use camera roll photos or live camera access. Games can be shared, remixed, or reposted on a scrollable feed. Pocket joins a wave of recent standalone Meta apps including Instagram Instants, Forum, Seller, and a new Meta AI app for Mac, reflecting CEO Mark Zuckerberg's comments about AI-enabled development accelerating the company's ability to ship new apps.
