Microsoft Build in San Francisco featured several major announcements including seven new in-house AI models. Highlights include a new flagship reasoning model, MAI Code One Flash (a coding model claimed to be more accurate and token-efficient than Claude Haiku 4.5), a new transcription model MAI Transcribe 1.5, and MAI Voice 2 supporting 15 languages. Microsoft also introduced Microsoft Scout, an AI agent with direct access to Windows and Microsoft 365 products including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
