Microsoft just fixed the two biggest grievances I have with Windows

Microsoft is restoring long-requested Windows 11 customization features. The taskbar can now be repositioned to any screen edge, with icon alignment options (top-aligned or centered for vertical taskbars, left-aligned or centered for horizontal). Start and Search menus open relative to the taskbar position. The Start menu is also getting toggles for Pinned, Recommended, and All sections, small/large size options, and the ability to hide your name for privacy during desktop streaming. These changes are rolling out to Windows Insiders over the coming weeks.
