Key capabilities include agentless VMware discovery with dependency mapping and 6R recommendations, automated landing zone creation using Terraform or Bicep templates aligned to the Cloud Adoption Framework, and GitHub Copilot integration for application modernization handoffs. Despite being described as publicly available, the agent is in public preview and cannot execute actual migrations — replication, test migrations, and cutover still require manual steps in Azure Migrate. Full end-to-end planning support is currently limited to VMware workloads, with Hyper-V and bare-metal environments receiving only analysis and strategy guidance. Pricing has not been announced.
