Three zero-days were included, two of which — CVE-2026-56155 (Active Directory Federation Services privilege escalation) and CVE-2026-56164 (on-premises SharePoint privilege escalation) — are already being actively exploited despite mid-tier severity scores. CISA has added both to its known-exploited list. Microsoft's own scanner MDASH and Anthropic's Mythos model are among the AI tools driving faster bug discovery. The flip side: once patches ship, attackers can reverse-engineer exploits within hours, and the sheer volume of critical flaws is overwhelming traditional triage processes.
