Microsoft has released an experimental open-source fork of Windows Terminal called Intelligent Terminal, featuring native AI agent integration. It defaults to GitHub Copilot CLI but supports other agents like Gemini. Notably, it ships as a separate app rather than being integrated into the main Windows Terminal.
