Freezes can be purchased in 3-packs or 5-packs from the streak popover, up to 5 can be stashed at once, and notifications alert users when a freeze is used or supplies run low. Auto-apply can be disabled in Settings → Streaks. ## Content You complained, and you were right. Losing a long streak just because you stepped away on Valentine's Day or had a life outside the app was frustrating. We got the message. You should never have to choose between a date night and keeping your hard-earned progress. Say hello to **streak freezes**. ## Here's what's new - **Stock up in packs:** Grab freezes in **3-packs** or **5-packs** straight from your streak popover. - **Automatic coverage:** Miss a day and a freeze kicks in automatically. No extra steps required. - **Stash up to 5:** Keep a safety net ready for busy weeks and holidays. - **Clear notifications:** Get an alert when a freeze is used and another when your stack is running low. ## Built for real life Streaks are meant to build habits, not cause stress. One missed day shouldn't wipe out months of effort. A freeze covers for you, your streak stays intact, and you pick up right where you left off. ## Don't want auto-apply? Head to **Settings → Streaks** and turn off auto-apply. Your freezes will stay ready in your account until you want to use them. ## How to get started Click your streak counter in the top bar, select the freeze row, and [grab a 3-pack or 5-pack](https://daily.dev/settings/customization/streaks).
