NC aims to consolidate the MMORPG into a single online service by Q4 2026. The move follows a broader retreat by Amazon from big-budget MMOs, including the shutdown of New World: Aeternum, the closure of King of Meat, and the reported cancellation of its Lord of the Rings MMO. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
