# Moving from Next to Remix

## Summary

Next.js is a popular framework for creating server-side rendered React applications. But is it really a match for the powerful React framework incumbent - Next.js? To find out, I rewrote my (pretty basic) website from Next.JS to Remix and tried to compare the results. This article will outline how that process went, what I learned, and what technology I’ll stick with.
