# my gratitude and thanks

**[Starfall :D](https://daily.dev/sources/ecpdw57nuvridlxwsxruz)** · [@starfallcodes](https://daily.dev/starfallcodes) · 2 min read · 5 upvotes · 1 comments

## Summary

A young developer expresses gratitude to the daily.dev community for being welcoming and non-judgmental, contrasting it with other social platforms where beginners face ridicule. The post celebrates the inclusive culture of the developer community regardless of age, experience level, or background.

## Content

see, i did a lil silly post saying:

_"nah bro ts ain't getting viral"_

## 37k views 💀💀💀💀(at the time i saw)

Holly smokes.

---------------------------------------------

didn't saw that coming.

My message is that, i deeply thank yall for being so kind and welcoming, even to a kiddo like me, that would normally get clowned on for larping/showing off.

And they are right, i'm not into web, i have a mere 3 years of experience, and i only code in python, and sometimes c++.

In other platforms like Instagram or X, i would be genuinely bullied for even saying that i build something, or saying i only used AI(false).

----------------------------------------------

That's why i am so obsessed with this community, here, we don't criticize age! We are developers, no matter the age!

So, this is a reminder, no matter your age, gender, religion, financial situation or development history, you **can **make a difference!

-----------------------------------------------

From what i saw, even if sometimes there are some hot takes, users are usualy kind to each other and respect their opinions, things other social platforms don't do. Because here, the only thing that matters, is your actual dev knowledge!

-----------------------------------------------

And, if you aren't a pro dev, that uses 5 quintillion JS libraries and can exorcise rogue AI's with PyTorch, you can learn and share your experiences here!
