The event featured 20+ sessions covering AI-native database capabilities and vector workloads, InnoDB performance optimizations, replication scalability, extensibility via the Component Framework, and developer/DBA experience improvements. Key technical discussions included GTID lifecycle management, Hypergraph optimizer enhancements, structured JSON optimizer tracing, native DDL triggers, and a MySQL-native MCP interface for AI tooling. The community track focused on improving transparency in bug tracking, clearer contribution pathways, and earlier community involvement in design decisions. Over 700 bugs have been closed since January 2025, with 1,389 remaining.
