Neon, the serverless Postgres platform, is now available on Microsoft Azure as an Azure Native Integration, backed by a $25M strategic investment from M12, Microsoft's Venture Fund. Developers can deploy Neon directly from the Azure Portal or via the Azure Marketplace. The announcement highlights Neon's serverless architecture (separating compute and storage), its suitability for AI applications via pgvector for vector storage, and its database-per-customer isolation capabilities. Neon was previously available only on AWS.
