.NET 11 Preview 5 is now available with improvements across the runtime, SDK, libraries, ASP.NET Core, .NET MAUI, C#, and Entity Framework Core. Key highlights include System.Text.Json support for JSON Lines serialization, LINQ full outer joins, X25519 cryptography key agreement, faster runtime-async suspension, JIT and GC improvements, file-based app support in the SDK, an MCP Server template via dotnet new, Blazor SSR client-side validation, QuickGrid without interactivity, a Blazor WebAssembly Gateway, and EF Core warnings for async queries running synchronously with cleaner SQL generation.
