## Summary

netsim-tools received significant updates in December 2021. Pete Crocker contributed Fortinet device support with IPv4, IPv6, and OSPF configuration. Jeroen van Bemmel added Nokia SR Linux and SR OS support covering OSPF, ISIS, BGP, and SR-MPLS. New features include hierarchical device groups, device-specific module attributes, custom deployment templates, a --fast option for netlab initial using Ansible's free strategy, multi-access LAN links for containerlab, automatic vagrant-libvirt management network creation, and a fix expanding lab size support up to 20 devices. The tool was later renamed to netlab starting with release 1.3.
