## Summary

The netsim-tools project has been renamed to netlab, reflecting its evolution from a collection of scripts into a full intent-based lab-as-code system. The Python package is now called networklab on PyPI. There are no changes to functionality, CLI commands, or documentation. Users should uninstall netsim-tools and install networklab, or upgrade via pip which will handle the transition automatically. GitHub repositories have also been renamed from ipspace/netsim-tools to ipspace/netlab, with automatic redirects in place. Documentation has moved to netlab.tools.

## Questions this post answers

### How do I migrate from netsim-tools to netlab after the rename?

Uninstall the old package with `pip3 uninstall netsim-tools` and install the new one with `pip3 install networklab`. Alternatively, running `pip3 install --upgrade netsim-tools` will automatically remove the old package, replace it with an empty stub, and install networklab as a dependency. No changes to CLI commands, functionality, or documentation are required.
