Evolved from the jackskid and fbot malware families, it uses a novel blockchain-based C2 mechanism via Ethereum ENS and Solana SNS domains, with C2 addresses hidden inside fake IPv6 strings. The botnet spreads through weak Telnet/SSH credentials and known CVEs in routers, cameras, and IoT devices. A variant observed in late June repurposes infected devices as network proxies using UPnP port forwarding. Operators claim a peak DDoS capacity of 4 Tbps.
