Dynamic Music Pill, a GNOME Shell extension displaying now-playing track info, media controls, and real-time lyrics in the panel, has released v1.2.0. New options include a toggle to hide the artist name, the ability to pause label scrolling when music is paused, configurable button placement in Tablet Mode, media source button placement options, a toggle to hide Auto (Smart Selection) from the player selector, parallelised lyric fetching for faster loading, and a fix for artist names being cropped in panel mode. The extension is free and open-source, compatible with GNOME 45–50.
