# No more QPS limits on Developer Plans

**[Tinybird](https://daily.dev/sources/tinybird)** · 4 min read · 5 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Tinybird is removing QPS (queries per second) limits from Developer Plans, replacing them with compute-based billing measured in vCPU-seconds. Every plan now includes burst capacity (2x–3x baseline), and overages are charged at $0.0002 per vCPU-second. A new S-8 plan at $799/mo is introduced, while the S-3 plan is retired for new customers. Ingestion is never throttled. Plan changes can now be made at any time without the previous 24-hour lock. The change takes effect at the end of each customer's current billing cycle.
