# Now Linear writes the code, too

## Summary

Linear is launching coding sessions, automated triage, and Diffs to bring AI-powered code execution natively into its project management platform. Linear Agent can now take an issue from triage all the way to an open pull request — reading the codebase, proposing an approach, writing code using frontier models like Claude Code or Codex, and opening a PR for team review. Automated triage lets the agent pick up issues immediately and investigate using integrations like Sentry and Datadog. Diffs provides native code review inside Linear, keeping the full context from original report to finished implementation in one place. Linear reports that in the past month, nearly 700 PRs were merged by the agent internally, and customers like Ramp and Coinbase have built similar workflows on Linear's API and Agent SDK.
