# NVIDIA GTC 2026: What to expect from Jensen Huang's keynote

Nvidia's GTC 2026 developer conference runs March 16-19 in San Jose, California. Jensen Huang's keynote is Monday, March 16 at 11am PT — available in person at SAP Center or via free livestream at nvidia.com. A pregame show starts at 8am PT the same morning.

The event draws around 30,000 attendees, with 700+ sessions and 70+ hands-on training labs. Panels feature leaders from LangChain, Mistral, Perplexity, Cursor, and others. A developer community livestream runs March 18.

## Hardware: Rubin, Vera, and what comes after

The Rubin GPU generation is expected to be a centerpiece. It features up to 288GB HBM4 memory and roughly 5x the dense floating point performance of Blackwell — though its ~1.8kW TDP will push many buyers toward liquid cooling setups. The standalone Vera CPU, positioning Nvidia against Intel and AMD in the datacenter, should get more detail here too.

Looking further out, Nvidia may preview Kyber racks (600kW, targeting 2027) and Feynman GPUs (2028, potentially exceeding 1MW per rack). Whether these get firm specs or just slide mentions remains to be seen.

## The Groq deal and inference push

Nvidia already holds around 80% of the AI training chip market. The next fight is inference, where Google, Amazon, and others are pushing hard. The $20B Groq technology licensing deal — and how Nvidia plans to integrate Groq's dataflow architecture with its GPU stack to improve token throughput — is expected to be addressed directly.

## Software: NemoClaw, agents, and robotics

On the software side, NemoClaw is the most-rumored announcement: a reported open-source enterprise AI agent platform. Nvidia's OpenClaw/NemoClaw agentic frameworks are expected alongside updates to Isaac GR00T for robotics and Omniverse for digital twins.

Agent inference is getting particular attention this year. A Monday morning session called "The Agentic AI Inflection Point" features voices from across the AI ecosystem, and Jensen Huang is moderating a Wednesday panel on open models with Perplexity's Aravind Srinivas, Mira Murati, Mistral's Arthur Mensch, Cursor's Michael Truell, and others.

## Other sessions worth noting

- LangChain's Harrison Chase will be at GTC discussing open-source agents and enterprise deployment
- Sessions cover AI applications in climate research, energy, and music
- Partnership announcements in healthcare, robotics, and autonomous vehicles are expected
- There may be hints at an Nvidia Arm-based SoC for Windows PCs, though this is less confirmed

The keynote streams free. If past GTCs are any guide, the hardware numbers will be impressive and the roadmap will be ambitious.
