NVIDIA's venture arm NVentures has joined Alice & Bob's €100m Series B in an extension round. The Paris-based quantum hardware company builds fault-tolerant machines using a proprietary cat-qubit architecture and has been integrating its hardware with NVIDIA's CUDA-Q platform and NVQLink interconnect. NVentures has been systematically investing across all major quantum hardware approaches — ion trap, neutral atoms, photonic, and now superconducting cat qubits — positioning NVIDIA as the classical compute and software substrate for whichever architecture achieves fault tolerance first. Alice & Bob targets a useful quantum computer by 2030 and is one of France's two designated quantum hardware champions under the national Proqcima programme.
