Nx has launched Polygraph, a new service that links multiple repositories into a 'synthetic monorepo' to help AI coding agents work across codebases without losing context. The tool builds a dependency graph across internal and open-source repos, enabling agents to read and write across all connected repos simultaneously. Polygraph also introduces portable shared memory — capturing every agent session so developers can resume work on another machine or hand off tasks mid-session. It supports Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode via the A2A protocol, and coordinates cross-repo changes by opening pull requests for each affected repo. Currently free during early access, it works with GitHub and is positioned as a 'meta-harness' that wraps existing agents rather than replacing them.
