## Summary

Good programmers are invaluable assets to companies, often being key to the success of projects. The loss of such talent can have significant negative impacts, particularly in smaller teams with specific skill sets. Companies can prevent this by fostering a supportive work environment, providing autonomy, up-to-date tools, and involving programmers in strategic decisions. Ensuring programmers feel valued and part of the team is essential for their retention and the long-term success of the organization.

> I think there mainly 3 aspects why devs leave jobs:
>
> 1. Shitty, stressful environments
> 2. Shitty pay or no raise
> 3. Bored of fixing bugs, cant get any interesting projects or new ways to learn and expand their knowledge.
>
> Prevent all these 3 from happening and you will keep your devs happy and they will stay for ever and ever and ever
