# Official Linux ARM64 builds

**[Crystal](https://daily.dev/sources/crystallang)** · 1 min read · 2 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Crystal 1.19 introduces official Linux ARM64 builds, ending a long wait for ARM64 support on Linux. The builds are available across all existing distribution channels including nightly builds, release tarballs, Docker images, Snap packages, and the install-crystal GitHub Action. Previously, Crystal supported ARM64 as a tier 1 architecture only for macOS; now Linux users on ARM64 hardware have full official support.
