A new Python package called omi_audio implements positional audio mixing as a glTF extension, following the OMI/KHR audio extension spec. Built with Claude assistance and using Numpy for audio mixing, it supports mp3, wav, opus, and flac inputs with stereo headset output. The model is similar to Web Audio's Panner Node and also supports VRML97-style double-ellipse emitters. Available on GitHub and PyPI.
