Built around the ESP32-WROOM-32E module, it logs GPS position, IMU data (accelerometer + gyroscope), PWM signals (throttle, steering), battery voltage, temperature, and lap timing to a microSD card at 100 Hz. A 10-state Extended Kalman Filter fuses IMU and GPS data for accurate position and attitude estimation. After a run, a Wi-Fi SoftAP lets users download CSV logs via browser, which can be visualized in the Open RC Crew Chief web app. Live telemetry at 20 Hz is supported via ESP-NOW to a pit-side ESP32 receiver. Firmware is written in C++ and compiled with Arduino IDE. Hardware files are on OSHWLab and the GitHub repo.
