# Open source developers urged to ditch GitHub following Copilot launch – TechCrunch

> I would keep using Github only because of what I am working with and I dont think that moving ALL of my projects on Github to another open-source hosting service would make sense and I think that others would agree that its a hassle in order to move all of thier code
