The first major project is a $20 billion data center campus called Project Camellia in Georgia, spanning 1,400 acres and drawing at least 3.2 gigawatts of power from Georgia Power. Most of the new power capacity will come from natural gas, more than doubling Georgia Power's existing natural gas fleet. OpenAI will cover full infrastructure and electricity costs, and receives a 50% property tax abatement for 15 years.
