Platform engineers can define secure golden paths via programmable Kubernetes-native abstractions, while developers get a Backstage-powered portal, declarative GitOps, and built-in SRE and FinOps agents. The project is community-driven and invites contributions, feature requests, and early adoption. ## Content Kubernetes provides an incredibly powerful foundation for building and scaling modern applications. To help engineering teams fully utilize this ecosystem, we are building OpenChoreo, a complete, open-source Internal Developer Platform that brings a unified surface to your cloud-native stack. As a CNCF sandbox project, OpenChoreo integrates seamlessly with the tools you already use to provide a production-grade experience from day one. It features a modular, multi-plane architecture that separates control, data, build, and observability concerns. Through programmable Kubernetes-native abstractions, platform engineers can define secure golden paths. At the same time, developers get a Backstage-powered portal, declarative GitOps, and built-in agents for SRE and FinOps workflows. This enables teams to ship backend microservices and infrastructure efficiently without bypassing critical governance guardrails.
