The OpenSearch Software Foundation announced the schedule for OpenSearchCon North America 2026, taking place September 22-24 in San Jose, California. The conference will highlight five years of OpenSearch development, with sessions from Apple, AWS, CERN, IBM, LinkedIn, Groupon, Booking.com, Uber and others covering enterprise search, observability, and agentic AI applications at scale. A Linux Foundation Research report to be revealed at the event finds 77% of respondents view OpenSearch as an important component for AI applications. Highlighted sessions include Apple's work bridging Prometheus and OpenSearch TSDB, CERN's production monitoring approach at petabyte scale, and LinkedIn's AI-powered privacy-safe search analytics.
