# OpenTofu Amiable to a Terraform Reconciliation

## Summary

IBM's acquisition of HashiCorp raises questions about the future of Terraform and OpenTofu, an open-source fork of Terraform. OpenTofu is open to remerging with a sufficiently open-sourced Terraform.
