A security patch has been released for the JSON Pretty Format Reactive component on the OutSystems Forge, used in nearly 2,000 projects. Vulnerabilities were discovered during a pen test conducted by Soares Corp, including XSS flaws, browser crash (DoS) attack vectors, and insecure error handling. The component developers approved the fixes, which now include full XSS protection, DoS prevention, secure error handling, and performance optimizations. OutSystems developers are encouraged to update their projects immediately.
