PCMFlowG722 is a new Arduino library by Tanaka Masayuki that adds G.722 wideband audio codec support to the PCMFlow library, enabling half-duplex HD voice communication over ESP-NOW on ESP32 boards. G.722 delivers 7 kHz audio at 16 kHz sampling within the same 64 kbps bandwidth as G.711, fitting neatly into ESP-NOW's 250-byte payload limit with 160-byte frames per 20ms. This effectively turns ESP32 boards like the M5Stack Core2 into HD walkie-talkies, improving on earlier projects that used lower-quality G.711 audio. The library includes an encoder, decoder, and a ready-to-use EspNowTransceiver Arduino sketch.
