Photonic Inc. has appointed Orlagh Neary as Chief Marketing Officer and Briony Shipman as Vice President of Global Government Affairs. Neary brings over two decades of experience from Microsoft, most recently as General Manager of Microsoft Quantum and AI Ecosystem Engagement. Shipman joins from Lloyds Banking Group and previously spent 14 years at GCHQ in intelligence and policy roles. The appointments follow Photonic's $200M+ investment round closed in May 2026 and are aimed at accelerating commercialization of distributed quantum computing and strengthening government and policy relationships globally.
