> PHP is that guy who doesn't talk  and minds his business,  many come, compete and go  but he doesn't care since he knows  he is the beast.

> PHP got popular because PHP was free when everyone else was trying to sell their server technology. As such, PHP hosting was cheaper, and that made it more popular. Now, PHP is popular because PHP was popular.
