As long as there's decent utilities (if you're not wanting to use the terminal and edit text files for everything) you can be productive. It's partly why I like [SparkyLinux (DE KDE Plasma 6.3.6 or Xfce, built on Debian) ](https://sparkylinux.org/)and [FunOS (DE JWM window manager, built on Ubuntu LTS)](https://funos.org/) as daily drivers. Super-low overhead.
