The rig uses a turntable with ultrasonic transducers, a stroboscope to freeze wave motion, and a Pi 4 for camera control and image processing. Results show that soft furnishings significantly dampen soundbar beam-steering more than true surround sound, and the creator ultimately concluded headphones are the best option for their space.
