The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), UEFA, UC3, and Mexican authorities have disrupted the PirloTV sports piracy network by seizing 44 domains that collectively attracted over 950 million visits per year. PirloTV aggregates and embeds unauthorized live sports streams, primarily soccer, and was heavily used in Latin America — especially Mexico and Colombia. The action was timed ahead of the UEFA Champions League final and coincides with the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026. Despite the takedown, PirloTV has a history of quickly migrating to new domains, and some active domains remain indexed. This marks ACE's first collaboration with Mexico's Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) under a new anti-piracy Memorandum of Understanding.
