# Port 8080 is now available in Vercel Sandboxes

## Summary

Vercel Sandboxes now support port 8080 for opening and binding as an ingress domain. Previously, port 8080 was reserved for the controller process, which has been moved to port 23456. A code example demonstrates creating a sandbox with port 8080 open using the @vercel/sandbox SDK.
