Google Cloud and Apple have partnered to extend Apple's Private Cloud Compute (PCC) infrastructure onto Google Cloud, announced at WWDC 2026. The platform leverages Google Cloud's Confidential Computing portfolio, including Intel TDX and NVIDIA Blackwell GPU confidential computing, along with Google's Titanium security architecture and Titan chip for hardware root of trust. Together, these technologies provide hardware-based Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) that keep data encrypted in use, ensuring no privileged runtime access and verifiable transparency. An open-source host stack was co-engineered to support independent inspection of the system's security properties.
