A Model Delegation mechanism lets Claude appear as a Siri extension alongside the existing ChatGPT extension, handling natural-language requests while handing system actions back to Siri. A separate Model Manager Services protocol appears to let Apple's server-side Siri model be entirely replaced by another model such as GPT-5.6, which would receive Apple's native planner prompt and tool definitions to perform system actions using Siri's own voice and interface. The EU's Digital Markets Act may have influenced this design. Is it the "harness" that is efficient in Indexing, retrieval, does it have the ability to make the necessary tool calls, and etc. Once that is sorted, AND If can use Ollama or any other local models with this, we will be able to see some real improvements and real use cases.
