AWS DevOps Agent has reached general availability, enabling autonomous incident resolution by integrating with the Datadog MCP Server (also now GA). The integration allows AI agents to correlate Datadog observability data (logs, metrics, traces) with AWS infrastructure telemetry to automatically investigate incidents, identify root causes, and generate mitigation plans. Key new capabilities include automatic incident coordination via Slack, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow, proactive prevention recommendations, and multicloud/on-premises support. A walkthrough demonstrates resolving API Gateway 5XX errors by correlating Lambda and DynamoDB logs, with the agent producing a detailed mitigation plan and prevention recommendations to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
