## Summary

Asahi Linux's progress report coinciding with Linux 7.0 covers several major developments: the Asahi Installer has been updated to v0.8.0 with CI/CD automation via GitHub Actions, ending two years of manual releases. Ambient light sensor (ALS) support is now available via Apple's Always-On Processor with a firmware update workflow. Power Management Processor (PMP) driver support saves ~0.5W idle power on M1 Pro machines. Bluetooth coexistence fixes eliminate audio dropouts. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support was discovered hidden in a DCP firmware parameter and is available via a kernel module flag. Audio improvements include new sample rate support (44.1, 88.2, 176.4, 192 kHz) for the headphone jack chip and upstream merging of bus keeper APIs. M3 machines now have PCIe, keyboard, trackpad, NVMe, and RTC support. Fedora Asahi Remix 44 is on track for release with KDE Plasma 6.6 features.
