Key additions include automatic task discovery from package.json, Makefiles, Deno, Composer, just, and go-task without any configuration. The release adds 34 new project types (Bun, Deno, uv, Laravel, Flutter, Terraform, Helm, Hugo, Jekyll, and more) and fixes three long-standing bugs in project type detection for Angular, Python, and Symfony. Monorepo support is improved with subproject-aware lifecycle commands that work across polyglot repositories. New commands include projectile-dashboard for a project overview and projectile-doctor for debugging Projectile's configuration. Smaller additions include TODO/FIXME collection, project-scoped bookmarks, per-command compilation buffers, and optional Embark/Marginalia integration. Notable bug fixes address infinite spinning during async indexing, CMake compile command persistence, and a 2016-era bug where git-ignored files appeared in file completion.
