Willow is a family of open source peer-to-peer protocols designed to be more resistant to weaponization than traditional centralized or P2P systems. The presentation examines how lessons from past abuses of both centralized and peer-to-peer systems inform Willow's design decisions, exploring specific architectural choices that make the protocol harder to misuse.
